Hanna-Maria took Bronze medal in 50m freestyle on Sunday, in last day of European Champs in Helsinki, Finland. The Broze time was 24,57 which is a new national record. She achieved 5 national records in the competition - of which 3 in individual events and 2 in relays. She has now 65 national records alltogether.

Hanna-Maria won gold in 100m individual medley in European Champs held in Helsinki, Finland. It was also a new national record. Totally Hanna-Maria has now 64 national records under her name. Additionally she was fourth in 100m freestyle yesterday. Hanna-Maria's winning time was 1.00,45 in 100m individual medley. Time in 100m freestyle was 53,29.

Hanna-Maria takes part in short course 25m European Champs this weekend (December 7.-10.). Race is arranged in Helsinki, Finland, in Mäkelänrinne swimming complex. Hanna-Maria's goal is to get medal in European Champs.
Hanna-Maria will swim following events in Helsinki according to the preliminary plans:
- 100m freestyle
- 50m freestyle
- 100m individual medley
- 4*50m relay freestyle
- 4*50m relay medley

Hanna-Maria race calendar has now been drafted for the next year. You can find information about competitions, venue and dates of the races in which Hanna-Maria is going to participate during the year 2007.
Next year main competition is goin to be World Championships in Australia, Melbourne. In addition, she is going to take part in European Championships in short course (25m) Hungary.

Hanna-Maria takes part in short course 25m Finnish Open GP competition this weekend (November 18.-19.). Race is arranged in Hämeenlinna, Finland. This race is preparation for upcoming short course EC competition in Helsinki, Finland. Hanna-Maria's goal is to get medal in European Champs.

Hanna-Maria has taken a gold medal with Nordic Country record in 100m individual medley. Additionally this is a new Finnish National record. The new time of the record is 1.00,63. Recognized Deutscher Ring competition was in Hamburg, Germany on 12.-13.8.2006.

Hanna-Maria has swam personal best in 50m butterfly in Budapest European Championships. She improved almost 0,4 seconds and the new time is 27,74 (previous personal best 28,13). Additionally Hanna-Maria improved her own seasonal best twice in 100m freestyle. First time in heats (55,09) and second time in semi-finals (55,05). Finally her placing was fifth in 100m freestyle.
Competition was arranged in outdoor pool in Hungary, Budapest on 27.7. - 6.8. Find Hanna-Maria's events and results below:

Hanna-Maria has swam two new national records in short course (25m) Finnish National Championships. Records were done in 200m freestyle with time 1.56,90 and in 50m breastsroke with time 31,99. The competition took place in city of Oulu, Finland.
Hanna-Maria collected this time 8 gold medals in the competition and is now holding all together 82 gold medals from the National championships. Additionally, she has achieved now total 61 Finnish National Records so far. Hanna-Maria participated in 9 different events of which she swam 8 in the finals. Number of visitors in Hanna-Maria's web site (www.hanna-maria.com) exceeded 100.000 in May. Average number of visitors is increasing constantly. The web site was opened May 2004.
Hanna-Maria's web site is updated and developed frequently. The plan for this year is to renew the layout and publish new content as well as pictures of Hanna-Maria. Ideas for developing web site have been received mainly from web site users and sponsors. Hanna-Maria wants to thank all those who gave feedback and wish nice summer to everyone!

Hanna-Maria swam personal best in Dutch Swimming Cup, Netherlads this weekend. New Personal best was swam in 50m butterfly heats with a good time 28,13. 50m butterfly time in semi-finals was 28,51. Hanna-Maria participated alltogether in four different events in the competition.
Hanna-Maria's results in the race was as following:
- 100m freestyle, 2. with time 55,45
- 50m freestyle, 2. with time 25,61
- 50m butterfly, 7. with time 28,51
- 50m breaststroke, 4. with time 33,63

Hanna-Maria won silver medal in World Chanpionships in 100m individual medley. Additionally she got into finals in 100m and 50m freestyle. The short course competition took place in Shanghai, China, on 5th-9th of April.
She got silver in 100m individual medley with a good time 1.00,74 - that is only 0,03 seconds away from her personal best. In 100m freestyle Hanna-Maria was 4th with time 52,78. In 50m freestyle her position was 6th with time 24,87.

Hanna-Maria collected all together 4 gold medals in the Finnish National Championships. The race took place in Espoo Finland on 9-12.3.2006. She participated in 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly. Additionally she improved her own personal best in 100m butterfly so that the new record is now 1.01,88.
National Champs was just an intermediate goal towards the WC competition in Shanghai, China. WC is held in the beginning of April and the aim there is to get into Finals. Hanna-Marias main goal now is however EC race in Budabest, Hungary, in the end of July.

Hanna-Maria takes part in long course 50m Finnish National Championship this weekend (March 9.-12.). Race is arranged in Espoonlahti, Finland. This race is preparation for upcoming short course WC competition in Shanghai, China. Hanna-Maria's goal is to get into finals in Shanghai.
Hanna-Maria has won 74 times gold medal and done 59 National Records in Finnish National Championships so far. Come and cheer on Hanna-Maria to the victory in Espoonlahti!
